Paten Park has undergone a major refurbishment and was opened on 11 May 2008 for the local community to be able to celebrate Mother's Day.
The $100k spent in the upgrade of Paten Park has provided the residents of The Gap with a focal meeting place to enjoy these new surroundings. The park caters for an age group from 3 years to 12 years of age.
