Australia Day was celebrated by the residents of The Gap and this year was the Tenth Anniversary of the Annual Aberclare Challenge Cricket Match held every year on Australia Day in the local park at Aberclare Estate,The Gap.
This is a well attended and celebrated cricket match with fierce competition between the Odds and the Evens teams. At the end of a hard fought match all differences are resolved over a community bbq where the planning for next year begins.
The Aberclare Challenge this year was claimed by the Evens Team.
